Don´t be scared! At least once a year we go even faster, harder & louder. Following the 30th anniversary show, our team is once again in creative action at this year's closing show of the legendary Wacken Open Air. To the specially composed soundtrack of Sascha Paeth's "Masters of Ceremony", we are once again designing the multiscreen mapping of the total of 11 video walls with 7 different signal sources. Directly afterwards, we were also responsible for the post-production of the final cut featuring all highlights of the show. For the almost 9-minute multimedia performance under the artistic direction of Kai Swillus, this time more than 200 protagonists in elaborate Monster-, Zombie- & Viking outfits will be integrated on and in front of the two main stages to get the approximately 85,000 enthusiastic metalheads in the mood for the Viking motto for the upcoming 36th festival edition. The epic production, featuring a powerful-voiced live performance by Adrian Cowan, culminates in the announcement of the first wave of bands for 2023, including first major headliners such as Megadeth and Iron Maiden. Billed as the "Promotors Farewell Show" in the festival running order, the unique spectacle also supports the official pre-sale launch the following evening. The team of Event Service RS stages the pre-launch of the bank's new brand identity as a green event in the exclusive ambience of the scalaria on Lake Wolfgang.Ingredients to create this year's sales event for over 400 branch employees from Germany and Austria:Strengthening team spirit, celebrating successes together and discovering the future in a playful way.Following the pandemic-related break, the event is mainly a "thank you" for the commitment and loyalty in these turbulent times. The focus lies on future topics. First and foremost the upcoming brand relaunch. The internal and external impact of the new tonality is to be made tangible in emotional form. The "JUMPSTART Award" for the best branch performance should be newly established. Sales promotion, especially in community banking, is another important element of the program design.Something big is born here!First, the head of sales surprises his team with a rewritten version of "with a little help from my friends". His thanks for dedication & loyalty during the pandemic are frenetically cheered. In a 360° multimedia setting, the management offers a review and outlook in the style of TED Talks. The honors are followed by the pre-launch of the new brand identity. This is the theme for the rest of the event and gets to the heart of the claim and shortening of the company name: BAWAG. That´s bank. This is for you.The Welcome Party pushes the new tonality and quotes, for example, soft drinks affectionately with: "This is for those who prefer it without."That's new. That's fun.The internal and external impact of the relaunch can be experienced in analog and digital form at the Team Challenge. Experts provide valuable insights, an outdoor video wall with live broadcasting, DJ and Kristina Inhof accompany the stations. That makes better. That makes faster. The seating concept of the team workshops reflects the INSTA logo and symbolizes closeness & distance of different communities. Funny INSTA clips are developed, filmed and submitted for voting. In the sign of a volatile future, the teams master various challenging obstacles in the water park. That's us.The team spirit is strengthened during the team painting. Everyone creatively immortalizes themselves with colors of their choice on a 24m² wall. Prepared in advance, the lettering completes the colorful motif for the group photo. This is for winners. At the Gamenight with legendary TV game formats, the aim is to apply the new knowledge correct & fast. By using the APP "1,2 or 3" questions are answered, the best INSTA stories are chosen and the freshly printed campaigns launched by "Dalli Klick" are solved. For the "outdoor bet", the total time of the fastest teammates in the water park night finale is tipped. The highlight video produced in parallel is followed by the award ceremony and the motto dessert "For all those who are still out of shape." The party is titled: This remains between us. - and it remains that way :-)The event was organized according to sustainability criteria, officially certified as a "Green Event" and awarded GOLD in the category "Employee Events" at the Austrian Event Award 2022 by a high-ranking jury of experts.

#bringing together #working together #growing together For the 2-day streaming event, the Event Service RS team produces a total of 4 live broadcasts á 180min including simultaneous translation, which are also available via media library immediately after being broadcast. The agency support for the entire conception and implementation of the annual kick-off event follows a systemic and interdisciplinary approach. As an initial step in the development of the format, the agency creates the motto and key visual. This inspired the development of the spacious studio set on more than 1,000 square meters in the Expedithall Vienna. Living plants reinforce the claim to sustainability. In combination with corporate exhibits, they form the scenery for three triangular stages facing each other. They equally symbolize the three corporate values as well as the core elements of the corporate strategy. Powerful media technology and the transformable set design enable the engaging image direction featuring seamless transitions between keynotes, talk rounds and live feeds. An entertaining and informative program is ensured by more than 60 involved experts together with numerous video clips as well as the hosting duo Daniela Philipp and Stefan Lenglinger. The broadcast look integrates the design elements and creates structure through repeating formats, introduced by theme jingles. The "tagesgeschehen", for example, offers intention and introduction. The "impulsdialoge" features exciting panel discussions. The "vorstandsarena" marks the opening and closing of the event. In the "kulturcafé", 300 executives work in parallel on the target culture in 30 moderated online groups. Specially developed e-templates allow an overnight evaluation. This enables the executive board to reflect on initial findings on the following morning. Also truly interactive is the bank99 kick off embedded in the event on Day 2. For example, online participants can submit their motivational message along with their favorite song. From these personal contributions, the live DJ mixes the matching station program for the broadcast breaks.Selfie upload tool, e-votings, live chats and hosted Q&A sessions invite for active participation. The entire production is climate-neutral. The 2G+ prevention concept takes care of defined groups according to their tasks. The 24/7 screening of over 150 contributors ensures daily PCR tests on site. The evaluation following the event showed an above-average positive response as well as a record participation of more than 3,000 postal workers across Europe. The format also sets a new benchmark in the industry comparison and is awarded GOLD in the category "Online Events/ Trade Fairs/ Congresses" at the Austrian Event Award 2022.

A christening of firsts: for the first time in the history of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, an ocean-going christening will be celebrated, for the first time in the 21st century, a cruise ship will be christened off Helgoland and for the first time, a grey seal will take on the symbolic task of godmother. For our team, on the other hand, this is already the third ship christening that we have been commissioned by the shipping company to plan together with the CC Cruise Company and successfully realize on board the HANSEATIC spirit. Together with the HANSEATIC inspiration and the HANSEATIC nature, the third newbuilding now completes the luxurious expedition fleet of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. The five-day cruise departs from Hamburg for Helgoland, Germany's only high-sea island. After an individual on-board program and the first shore excursions, the christening guests will be invited to the "Expedition Night" on the pool deck on the second day following dinner in the on-board restaurants, which has been lovingly and lavishly transformed into a dune landscape for this information evening in show format. With anthemic songs full of goose bumps potential, the North German singer and songwriter Björn Paulsen provides the atmospheric framework. Presenter Lutz Deyhle leads through the program and welcomes numerous discussion guests on the temporarily created pool stage.Captain Axel Engeldrum reports on the construction phases of the HANSEATIC spirit. Isolde Susset, Head of Product Management Expedition Cruises, and CEO Julian Pfitzner introduce the fascinating world of voyages with the ships of the new expedition class. The entertaining talk rounds will be supported by pre-recorded video clips, including greetings from the two sister ships. The greetings of the island bring Helgolands mayor Joerg Singer again personally. As a guest gift, he presents a valuable photograph by the artist Franz Schensky as well as Helgoland Kringel, the traditional pastry for the christening of a Börteboat. Finally, before the official christening bottle - a double magnum of Veuve Cliquot - is presented by the sommelier, the vet Ulrike Meinfelder now introduces the actual godmother of the ship. Nemirseta, called Nemi, is a grey seal. She was born in Lithuania in 2005 and found completely weakened on a beach. Since the animal does not feed itself, the seal could not be released into the wild after it had been nursed back to health. Since 2006 she lives in Friedrichskoog. The guests applaud enthusiastically as Julian Pfitzner explains that that Hapag-Lloyd Cruises has also taken on a sponsorship for howlers for all participants of the naming voyage. The next day brings a christening event that has probably never been seen before. First of all, all guests are invited to participate by signing the christening bottle. In the afternoon, it's off to the boats, either in one of the ship's own Zodiacs or in one of the colorfully decorated Börteboote, which are part of Helgoland's intangible world cultural heritage. Captain and CEO pilot the christening Zodiac with Ulrike Meinfelder directly in front of the bow for the christening chant. "Representing the grey seal Nemirseta, I christen you, you beautiful expedition ship, with the name HANSEATIC spirit!" She pulls a rope, triggering the mechanism to throw the bottle. The champagne wets the bow and cheers break out on the Zodiacs and boats that swarm around the new expedition ship. The HANSEATIC spirit lets its sonores Typhon sound and two sea rescuers of the society for the rescue of shipwrecked spit water fountains into the blue sky over the North Sea. After the successful christening, the merry armada of flot boats and Zodiacs sails to Helgoland's southern beach, where there is an expedition-style champagne reception: informal, cordial, open-air. The sun is shining. The North Sea shows itself from its most beautiful side. The guests then dress up for the christening dinner. A multi-course menu is served in all restaurants. After a small fireworks display over Helgoland, the successful day is celebrated in high spirits on the pool deck. The christening cruise of the HANSEATIC spirit ends with a sea day. The weather has changed, it has become cold, a low-pressure area is moving through. But the faces of the people on board are beaming. Our production team, on the other hand, is already busily editing the official highlight video, which will be launched on the shipping company's social channels at the same time as the return to Hamburg.

On behalf of the EGLO Group, the EVENT SERVICE RS team produces the first virtual start of the year with a 24-hour online programme as well as an on-demand WebMagazine for the sales divisions located worldwide. The entire programme is staged three-dimensionally on a password-protected landing page with various VR panoramas. Subtle mountain worlds with plexus-shaped synapses are reminiscent of modern network design and reflect the company's philosophy: Think global, act local. For the entertaining presentation of the content and core messages, the agency develops target group-relevant scripts in close coordination with the management and product managers. In addition to an appealing broadcast design, pic-in-pic presentations, jingles and mind-set trailers, a total of 12 product videos are created in the days immediately prior to the event, filmed in the newly configured showroom of the company's headquarters by two ENG teams and completed directly on site by motion designers, 3D artists and editors. The main venue for the live streaming is a specially constructed 500m² studio, complete with decorative backdrop construction, crane camera with rail system, editing and control rooms. Covid-19 compliant, personalised spacious retreat areas have also been built for management, presenters and crew. At 14.00h CET, the live stream for over 600 sales staff starts with key notes, talk rounds and interview partners streamed worldwide. Following this Opening Session, seven parallel small group workshops provide interactive information on new products and innovations with video calls, chat rooms and the pre-produced product videos. A sophisticated logistical system calculates the optimal intersection across the different time zones of all countries and creates an individual programme for each participant. For this purpose, the 50-minute thematic workshops are offered 8 times in a row.An editorial team answers open questions in direct consultation with management and product designers in a separate FAQ database. This is hosted in real time with a full-text search function and ensures shared learning. The "Meet Your Board" area also offers the possibility for individual meetings with the management with a 360° conference camera system. Exactly 24 hours after the start of the event, the Closing Session with a Wrap Up forms the bracket for the online event and closes with honours and the presentation of the company's internal "Leora Awards". The winners from all over the world are broadcast live.In parallel to the landing page, all content, FAQs, workshop videos, flipping books and photo gallery, as well as the recorded livestreaming offer were included in a WebMagazine, which is also available to employees after the event. The innovative production was awarded silver in the "Online events/ trade fairs/ congresses (B2B, B2C, P2P)" category at the Austrian Event Award 2021 and will be held again in a virtual format in January 2022. The following editions in November 2022 and November 2023 will be realized as a hybrid event in the presence of around 200 participants on site. Our team will continue to be responsible for event direction, broadcast recording, web editing, including playout of all conference and workshop content in our own EGLO WebMagazine.

The members of the Austrian Society for Quality Assurance and Standardisation of Medical Diagnostics (ÖQUASTA) commission EVENT SERVICE RS to conceive and organize their 30th-anniversary celebrations. As a result, we develop the corporate design for the ÖQUASTA symposium and, with an individualized up-to-date web presence, enable the presentation of all relevant event-related information, including the location of the meeting, the download links for photographic and video documentation and the participants’ online registration. In 2010, the convention takes place in the nature-inspired Congresspark in Igls for the first time. For the anniversary celebration, we use the rustic Triendl sawmill to stage a cabaret program that highlights the milestones of the organization’s thirty-year history in an entertaining and charming way. Due to the successful realization and highly positive resonance from both participants and sponsors, the executive board decides to organize the symposium every two years. As a result, a longstanding, successful partnership develops. Apart from internal ÖQUASTA meetings, scientific convention programs and the industrial exhibition with renowned producers, we plan and organize a social evening with an alternating motto for each convention. In the year 2011, we were the guests of the Swarovski Crystal Worlds where we organized a literary evening with classical music. In 2013, the Congresspark Igls was ablaze with the glittering lights of a gala evening accompanied by a big band and a dance show. The social evening of 2015 took place at the Heiligwasser Inn and was organized as a traditional autumnal Törggele event with alphorn sounds and an interactive musical performance by the Teufelsgeiger (the Devil’s Fiddlers). In 2017, a cheerful country-style “Oktoberfest” (October Festival) with regional delicacies and join-in cooking stations set the scene for the social evening, which not only hosted a ventriloquist, but also traditional music and folklore groups. In 2019, participants will take the cable car to the Patscherkofel mountain refuge. The editions in 2021, 2023, and 2024 were each implemented as hybrid events and, since 2023, have also been certified as a "Green Event" according to official sustainability criteria. Participation is possible both onsite and online via VR panoramas including a virtual exhibition, live streams, and an extensive media library. The evening social event is held as a "Stammtisch" with appropriate preventative measures in the rustic rooms at Isserwirt in Lans, at Grünwalderhof in Patsch, and at Bierstindl in Innsbruck. All information about the upcoming symposia on October 1-2, 2026, can be found in a timely manner on the congress website at www.oequasta-symposium.com.

Austrian Post commissions the EVENT SERVICE RS team to develop a new interactive format for the annual kick-off event and subsequently to accompany the planning phase, implementation and follow-up in terms of content. For the first time, this major event was also organised under sustainability criteria and certified as a "Green Event".From the perspective of the target group, the agency staged a lively knowledge marketplace. The event format enables 700 executives at the 2-day kick-off event and 650 branch managers and bank advisors at the subsequent branch network and bank kick-off event to plan their own individual programme, actively participate in the event and personally exchange ideas, without being limited by time and space.Bravely into the future: the common motto of both events reflects the dynamics of the market and inspires active participation as soon as they enter the venue. The focus is on the entire world of postal services, both in terms of content and space. The entire event actually takes place in just one room. The centre is the open plenum with 120m² LED wall for multimedia key notes on the main stage. In front of two whispering stages, the participants use headphones to listen to short talks and panel discussions in an unconventional lounge setting. All around is a 3,000m² Infopark with numerous exhibits. Here, experts provide information on core topics and innovations. Integrated catering and networking zones facilitate personal exchange. Daniela Philipp and Kristina Inhof moderate through the programme. They report live from the Infopark and invite participants to contribute suggestions via the event app and idea boxes. Open questions are answered in Q&A sessions. In the planning phase, bilateral working groups between the agency and all divisions ensure that the content is relevant to the target group. Ideas for playful learning are evaluated and integrated into the Infopark through entertaining interactions. All suppliers were selected on the basis of sustainability criteria and are encouraged to use environmentally friendly production processes and to avoid waste. ÖBB calculates a CO² saving of 30.4 tonnes for the numerous rail journeys. In addition, car pools are formed from the e-vehicle pool of Austrian Post. Invitations, programme information and directions are communicated via a digital event app. A trade fair construction system made of the naturally renewable raw material wood is used for the Infopark. 70 videos, mappings and infoloops were produced, 500m² of branding was designed in CD-compliant imagery and produced PVC-free with environmentally certified printing inks. The sensible after-use is already evaluated in advance. The venue operates with optimised energy consumption, an ecological waste water system and an environmentally friendly waste concept. The catering scores with reusable tableware, ISO cleaning agents, regional food procurement and beverage distribution in bulk containers. Leftover food is given to the "Tafelbox". Booked accommodation is in the immediate vicinity of the event location and can be reached on foot or by public transport. The sum of the individual contributions is rewarded with the Green Certificate at the end of the event! The assessment is successfully completed with 61.5 points and respectively 43% above the minimum criterion! All content is edited directly on site and published as a web magazine. In the evaluation, the participants gave above-average ratings and would like to see the format continued. The sustainable event format will be awarded the coveted special prize "Green Events" at the Austrian Event Award 2020.

On 11 October 2019 the second new arrival to the new fleet of expedition class vessels of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is christened at the Overseas bridge of Hamburg port. The team of EVENT SERVICE RS together with CC Cruise Company are tasked with designing and orchestrating an exceptional event. The "Hamburger Abendblatt" newspaper reports about a "grandiose spectacle the likes of which Hamburg has never seen before". The ship itself turns into a floating stage, and the guests turn into explorers: from zodiacs and barges floating right in the middle of the River Elbe, which is temporarily closed to other traffic, they witness a multimedia show with 3D architecture mapping and live acts on and in front of the 3,000sqm hull of the vessel. After a press talk and individual tours of the ship, science journalist and facilitator Ranga Yogeshwar welcomes 350 invited guests on the pool deck and introduces Laura Dekker, the ship's godmother. The famous around-the-world solo sailor will later trigger the christening mechanism and name the ship from a pontoon decorated to look like an ice floe right in front of the bow of the HANSEATIC inspiration. This is preceded by the christening dinner after which the guests, snug in their blue expedition parkas and in excellent mood for exploring, board the 27 zodiacs and four barges. The co-workers closely watch the action on the southern bank of the Elbe from the Louisiana Star, specially chartered for the event. Against the subtly shimmering backdrop of Hamburg with the Elbphilharmonie concert hall and the Michel tower, the HANSEATIC inspiration suddenly lights up bright as daylight and sets off a 15 minute multimedia show projected onto the ship's hull by 11 high-performance laser projectors with infrared tracking to balance the tidal range. Supported by 278 high-performance spotlights on the upper decks and with two 6m high speaker towers mounted on two pontoons to provide the sound via FM radio signal, a story unfolds that will be written in the immediate future: the new expedition class lets us escape the man-made stress and bustle of our civilised environment and sets new standards for variety, passenger comfort and personal space. Vertical acts performed in a blue grid open up a view of the technical innovations built into the ship before double Echo award winner Oonagh, standing on a glass balcony high above portraits of historic discoverers, intones the official christening song "GÄA" and takes the audience on a unique journey from exotic destinations in the Amazon to Arctic waters, where nature in all its splendour, quiet and seclusion safeguards a history of many thousand years. The show concludes with the fascinating colour play of the northern lights. To the mythical tunes of Norwegian ice musician Terje Isungset, captain Ulf Wolter steers the zodiac with the ship's godmother to the brightly illuminated ice floe in front of the bow. After the christening words the obligatory bottle is smashed against the bow and the lettering of the ship's name lights up the length of the hull. Back on board, the expedition mood continues unbroken during the christening party on the pool deck. The guests can't stop talking about what they have seen. "Breathtaking", says actress Nova Meierhenrich. The well-known nature film-maker Thomas Behrend is impressed "not just by the splendid visuals – the orchestration, the entire event, were unique". Behind the scenes, the event team of 130 and the 170 ship's crew all pull together smoothly, directed by Roland Schwaizer and coordinated by project manager Jan Struve and production manager Alexander Rottmann. After 18 months of planning and mastering the logistic and technical challenges of implementation, numerous experts agree that the event sets entirely new standards for future launching ceremonies. The extraordinary event format wins GOLD in the supreme discipline "Corporate Events" at the Austrian Event Award 2020. Watch Full Ceremony on Youtube - 20min

The Wacken Open Air (W:O:A) is one of the biggest open-air festivals in Germany and the best known heavy metal festival in the world. To mark its 30th anniversary, festival founders Thomas Jensen and Holger Hübner have an exceptional surprise performance planned for some 85,000 metalheads from over 80 countries globally, to take place on the two main stages of the sold-out Holy Ground. Under the artistic direction of Kai Swillus, the team of EVENT SERVICE RS develop a seven-minute multidimensional video animation, projected onto eleven video walls from seven different signal sources on the penultimate night of the festival. Playing on historic scenes from the Metropolis worlds, the show focuses on the highlights of the last thirty years and gives a preview of its 31st edition, which will be all about the Mayas and Aztecs. The spectacle is supported by a sophisticated pyro, light and laser show choreographed by lighting designer Jerry Appelt. The soundtrack specially composed by Sascha Paeth is underlined by matching sound effects from EVENT SERVICE RS. Other highlights of the show comprise the live guitar solo of Trivium guitarist Matt Heafy and scenic performances of the Mexican band Cemican. Embedded in the grand finale Judas Priest, Amon Amarth, Mercyful Fate, At The Gates, Hypocrisy, Venom, Sodom, Death Angel, Sick Of It All, Beast In Black, Nervosa and Cemican are among the first bands announced for 2020. EGLO Group, world leader in luminaire production for decorative home and outdoor lighting and light bulbs with a focus on LED, engages EVENT SERVICE RS GmbH to plan and organise the company's 50th anniversary celebrations. The agency starts by designing a key visual to be used in global communication throughout the year leading up to the big event. The claim "Proud History.Bright Future" is also theme-setting for the concept of the event proper. After months of planning and several weeks of production work, a temporary extension to the company's headquarters is put up in September 2019 in Pill, Austria - a veritable world of wonders on 2,800sqm showcasing the fascination of light in architecture, interior design and artistic performance. The customised lighting concept is developed in close coordination with EGLO's product development and tradeshow construction teams. Offset glass cubes framed in aluminium provide clear heights of 4m in the lounge and bar areas and of 6m in the main hall, with ample space for the decorative integration, of ceiling, wall, floor and outdoor fixtures from EGLO, all produced and configured in-house specially for the event. Next to the reception area and the liberally dimensioned lounge bar in the entrance area, a journey through time sheds light on the origins and milestones of EGLO's success story over the last 50 years. Smart light walls printed with the key visual highlight the reception area and mark out the stage in the form of a three-part, offset 50sqm LED wall. An array of trendy vintage fixtures and more than 100 LED effect spotlights round off the lighting spectacle. The company's founder, together with his family and the entire management, welcomes 720 national and international guests from 31 countries to the "Into the Light – Gala Night“ on day one of the festivities. In the presence of Tyrolean governor Günther Platter and mayor Hannes Fender, salutes are fired and the brass band kicks off the event with a traditional reception on the premises. Charming facilitator Kristina Inhof takes the guests through the entertaining multimedia show programme, with numerous video animations, top-notch dance acts centering on light, inspiring talks with contemporaries, and the premiere of EGLO's new image video. After a display of fireworks in front of the patios, the legendary Austria 3 band "Wir 4" and the party band "Highlights" are two live acts to rock the audience on the illuminated stage. The entire area is then completely reconverted overnight to provide a 600sqm lighting exhibition with a lounge-style brunch setting for Open House on the next day. The record number of visitors registered on Saturday proves that the hard work has been worth the effort: 1,750 visitors from the region make use of this opportunity to explore the lighting exhibition, the company premises and the showroom with its more than 4,000 different fixtures, normally closed to the public. Even the very young are kept busy with a magic show, a lighting workshop and an array of interactive stations. Facilitator Christian Brugger moderates the day's programme both on and off stage with live video reporting. On the main stage, spectacular shows by Dance Industry, an LED mapping performance, informative interviews with the management and the Tyrolean VolxxGang band provide lots of entertainment. The extraordinary event format was nominated by an independent jury of experts in the category "Corporate Public Events" for the Austrian Event Award 2020.

Qualified and motivated co-workers are vital for a bank that is customer-centered and forward-looking – this is the claim of BAWAG P.S.K. when the bank engages EVENT SERVICE RS GmbH to plan and stage its annual staff event. Under the motto "The best bank. The greatest place. The strongest team" the agency establishes three main pillars for the format of the event: information, interaction, and appreciation. After a hassle-free trip by rail and bus from all over Austria, the participants kick off the 2019 Sales Summit in the Tyrolean village of Alpbach in a rustic mountain-cabin setting at 1,827m above sea-level, in the specially converted Hornboden lodge. On Saturday Alpbach's Congress Centrum, completely remodelled by the agency, is the centre of activities. The shape of the multitude of screens in the main conference hall reflects the bank's new advertising strategy and offers an impressive backdrop to the varied future-oriented keynotes and inspiring multi-media presentations. After the two-hour sales conference, surprise facilitator Robert Kratky first welcomes the sales staff of 400 via live video reporting from the lawns outside the conference centre, where he personally looks after the completion of the eco-friendly digital landscape print with the bank's new claim for the subsequent family picture. In the ensuing team challenge in analog and digital format, the co-workers try their utmost to make their customers' lives even easier. Various stations in the village centre challenge them to try their hand (or feet) at traditional tasks, from folk dancing to pressing mash. The flora and fauna of Alpbach is explored using state-of-the-art Swarovski binoculars. The congress lobbies, flooded with natural light, provide spacious purpose-built mockups in the bank's future branch design for the teams to experience and discover their new roles by means of informative video clips and role play. Additional points can be scored in the community challenge, with Robert Kratky setting fun tasks by Whatsapp. The best team feedback, together with the day's highlights, is videoscreened before the award ceremony in the evening. Also in the evening, awards are presented for the best sales results in the past financial year, and the customer experience award is presented for the very first time. Interspersed with graceful artistic performances, the sales award gala climaxes with the announcement of the team challenge winners and a clubbing night on the upper floors of the conference centre, where a spaciously laid-out lounge area and creative DJ bubble scenery are provided. The innovative event format wins SILVER in the category "Employee Events" at the Austrian Event Award 2020.

On behalf of the company management, EVENT SERVICE RS develops an interactive event format in order to communicate the strategic orientation and the corresponding core issues of METRO Cash & Carry Austria Ltd to all staff members. The aim is not only to intensify an understanding of the company strategy, but also to deepen the identification with this strategy while at the same time reinforcing the commitment of all members of staff – from apprentice to executive – and, finally, to simultaneously promote cross-divisional networking of personnel and organizational units. The event is kicked off with the arrival of 300 staffers from the company headquarters at the nearly completed METRO superstore in St. Pölten. Within this unique setting, a theme park with 10 stations enables staff members to experience and understand the individual fields of action based on the company‘s value creation plan. First-hand information is presented through an entertaining elevator pitch and display boards. Suggestions by staff members are directly collected in idea boxes and later evaluated. A specially developed game referring to every field of action consolidates the comprehension of the different assignments. Subsequently, a brief management talk cccurs on the main stage before the moderator-hosted idea workshop, supported by a sketch-drawer, creates space for personal reflections, innovation and the further development of both collaboration and communication within the organization. The event comes to a close with the victory ceremony for the winners of the Theme Park Team Challenge and an expression of the personal commitment of the participants, of which a visual representation is assembled by both the executive board and graphic recordings in the form of a tesserae- and 3D-puzzle-element-generated result image. The ensuing Market Road Show POWERDAYS turns out to be the most comprehensive road show in company history. With 26 individual events in the vicinity of its 12 locations, the adapted format puts across its message to nearly 1400 staff members. The store managers act as hosts and reflect on past performances and future challenges. Concurrent with the kick off and professionally assisted by executives from the company‘s headquarters, the participants complete the legs of the interactive Theme Park Team Challenge, including a continuation of the idea box. All staff members contribute to the successful realization of the event – and again, the depiction of their commitment occurs by means of tesserae, which are put together to create a large symbolic picture in every market: together we are strong! Subsequently, all verbal statements, suggestions and results are scientifically processed by EVENT SERVICE RS and made available to the management in the form of a knowledge summary.

BAWAG P.S.K. invites its staff to a very special annual kick off: for the first time, 750 members of the sales department spend a weekend together. Acknowledgement and appreciation of delivered performances are clearly in the focus of attention. Reviews and outlooks, getting to know one another and „sharing experiences“ – all this not only aims at bringing staffers from all regions of Austria closer together, but also intends to generate maximum energy for the new business year. In a team effort, EVENT SERVICE RS develops the tailor-made format of this event and is responsible for its overall planning, production and realization. The initial letters of the seven core messages constitute the motto „E-N-E-R-G-Y“ (or E-N-E-R-G-I-E, German for energy), which is transmitted on all channels. A traditional evening in a hut with a DJ and live music serves as an adequate ouverture. On Saturday morning, the management makes use of an impressive multi-media setting to inform the participants about results, targets and challenges. After lunch, 15 busses shuttle their passengers directly to the Postalm. 27 teams now have to master the seven-station obstacle course (E-N-E-R-G-I-E) in less than two and a half hours. Hosted by Tom Walek, activities like igloo-building, snow golf, biathlon, GoldNugget, BobSleigh, SnowTube and Skidoo-fun are in the foreground – while in the background logistics, technology and security, all based on two months of planning, unfold with peak-performance intensity. The center of the event is represented by an 80-meter Snow Bar, located next to the stage and the videowall in front of the Skidoo course finish area with the rider‘s paddock and the training track. In the evening, several areas are activated: the change from the aperitif in the CircusCircus to dinner in the Do-X occurs via the terrace and is accompanied by core messages (hydro projection on the water stage). The dramaturgical setting for the teambuilding wrap-up with highlight fade-ins, victory ceremony and Sales Awards is provided by thrilling dance and power acrobatics show acts. Finally, an LED dance performance opens the MysticWorld behind the stage for the sales party. Sunday‘s program is characterized by regeneration and a stress-free bus transfer back to the point of departure. This successful program by EVENT SERVICE RS is rewarded with the presentation of the Austrian Event Award in Bronze.

In June 2017, the largest and most important Germanophone expert congress dealing with AIDS and HIV takes place in this year‘s host city Salzburg. The motto of the congress, „HIV in Motion“ points to the fact that everything is indeed in motion – including fundamental research, therapy and supplies. As the organizer of the congress, EVENT SERVICE RS for the second time shoulders responsibility for all issues concerning sponsor support, industrial, NGO and poster exhibitions, congress logistics and registration as well as the realization of the fringe programme and the complete planning of the budget. As PCO, the team also develops the website as well as the congress app and not only supports Congress President Prof. Heribert Stoiber in planning the scientific programme but also in dealing with abstract and speaker management; additionally, EVENT SERVICE RS serves as the interface between the international and local committee with a strong integration of the community board. With a scientific programme that equally focuses on medical and social topics, the congress not only addresses everyone working in the field of HIV, but is also directed at affected persons, pupils and adolescents. Apart from up-to-date presentations and professional lectures at interdisciplinary plenaries, symposia and workshops, participants are offered the opportunity to visit the poster, industry and NGO exhibitions, to carry out a rapid HIV test or to have a look at the expressive pictures of Philipp Leidl, an artist from Salzburg. The publicly accessible fundraising campaign, „Out of the Box“, where bike trial professional Tom Öhler performs spectacular tricks, is a special highlight for the participants. The collected donations are handed over to the Aidshilfe Salzburg (Salzburg AIDS Association) in order to support single mothers with AIDS. The subsequent scientific evening especially focuses on the activities of AIDS scientists, doctors, nursing staff, the community, people who work in social professions and social scientists fighting AIDS, thereby providing a dignified setting for the tributes and award presentations of the event. For this purpose, host Lukas Schweighofer and committee member Annette Haberl welcome the winning class of the nationwide Pupils‘ Award with their self-created song to the stage. Following the congress motto „Alles in Bewegung“, i.e „Everything in Motion“, breathtaking acrobatic show acts symbolize the topic of the event and, together with a live band and a DJ, bring the vision of the DÖAK – to act in an interdisciplinary and integrative manner – to life with a vivid display of artistic expression.

Meteorologists would probably talk about “a severe blizzard” causing strong tremors. The Carinthian Nassfeld is hit by such a quake triggered by 2000 metalheads celebrating the musical – and actual – ascent of the Metal Mountain. In cooperation with the ICS Festival GmbH, EVENT SERVICE RS summons heavy metal fans to the first Full Metal Mountain – a unique combination of winter holidays and festival feeling.Streaming in from more than 30 countries, winter sports enthusiasts with a passion for music turn the largest skiiing area of Carinthia into the heaviest and loudest winter holiday venue in Europe. On five stages, 32 metal and hard rock bands offer five days of (almost) around-the-clock metal gratification. Accompanied by the thundering rhythms of international metal heavyweights like Accept, Heaven Shall Burn, Avantasia, Sabaton, Beyond the Black, Gamma Ray, In Extremo or Powerwolf, metal fans enjoy the music, the snow and the breathtaking panorama of the Carnic Alps. In 2017, the second instalment of Europe’s unique metal festival in the snow provides another week of winter holidays for metal fans interested in an attractive travel offer with an “all-in” factor: apart from the festival pass, a ski lift ticket and free on-location shuttle transfers, the five-day-package offers accommodation in categories from apartment house to four-star hotel right next to the piste. This year, the newly constructed Full Metal Plaza in the valley opens the stage adjacent to the funicular for signing sessions and meet & greets with bands like Parkway Drive, Amon Amarth, Apocalyptica, Doro, Saltatio Mortis or Dragon Force. Moreover, an après ski of a very different kind is offered: little live acts, metal karaoke and rock & roll food in the warming light of the Carinthian evening sun await the festival guests. For the third edition of the Full Metal Mountain in April 2018, the metalheads climb the mountain by night – a premiere: during the nocturnal open air on the mountain stage, not only the headliners from Hämatom captivate the audience, but also a choreographic opener involving the participation of the Nassfeld Winter Sports School, mountain railways, lifts, piste maintenance machines and skiing instructors, who all make use of a series of brilliant pyrotechnical effects to initiate a worthy kick off for the live act. So, no matter if metal enthusiasts rock the slopes during the day between two downhill runs at the Peak or Mountain Stage to the music of Tuxedoo & Co or if they shake their sports-weary bones in the afternoon at the Metal Plaza après-ski to get into the mood for the evening’s main acts Nazareth, Alestorm, Abbath, Betontod, Eisbrecher or Kreator in the Full Metal Tent before finally partying on until the morning hours in the exclusive FFM Club – in the end, the complete skiing area is again almost exclusively taken over by metalheads.

„Raw-Industrial“ is probably the best term to describe the stage used to launch the business year of the METRO C&C Austria Ltd. For the introduction of the new management and the presentation of the company‘s strategic aims, the kick off for 200 executives is impressively staged on the different levels of the Metastadt in Vienna. In this context and on behalf of the executive board, EVENT SERVICE RS uses the run-up of the event to start an extensive 360-degree research project that results in the preliminary production of an emotional opening trailer and and an entertaining short movie aimed at the illustration of strategic core topics. Providing a „market view“ in the form of short video clips, an editorial team additionally manages to capture an up-to-date atmospheric image of different markets, which also relies directly on customers and potential target groups. Infotainment on the main stage starts with a pattern breaker: in methodical, excellently prepared steps, „Jonglator“ Stefan Ehlers provides an understanding of the topic by successfully demonstrating how new things can rapidly be learned and implemented. Juggling balls for all participants are distributed on the raised platform in the auditorium. Following the keynote speech by the CEO and supported by the pre-produced video clips, thrilling rounds of talks with business partners, customers and opinion leaders provide information on red-hot issues and current market perceptions. Entertaining, intense and content-related impulses are paired with casual „active elements“ using closely linked contents. An expert quiz playfully strengthens and consolidates the strategic aims and measures. Immediately after the informative parts of the program, German TV cook Mike Süßer invites his guests to shift perspectives and follow him to a joint cooking event on the two top floors of the venue. Two superbly equipped kitchens with food and non-food items from METRO‘s gastronomy sector await the participants. Instructed by cooks and specially trained advisors, they cut, stir and cook before finally enjoying a delicious dinner.

Austrian POST AG entrusted EVENT SERVICE RS with the conception and realisation of its Management Staff Workshop (Leadership Think Tank) 2015. According to the motto “UNITED WE ARE STRONG” and within the framework of a moderated round table discussion, the members of the executive board made use of the morning hours to provide information about current developments, successes and challenges before the results of the staff survey were presented by Dr. Helene Karmasin. The participants were interactively involved and given the opportunity to submit their questions and comments live via Smartphone App. Actors Gregor Seeberg and Maria Happel created awareness of the principles of leadership guidelines with an amusing and entertaining performance of a specially written business theatre play visualising the intention of the Management Staff Workshop at a meta-level. Afternoon work focused on exchange and discussion; supported by the two moderators as well as professional clusterers and graphic recorders, around 80 participants who had been trained during the run-up assumed their role as chairpersons of their respective tables at the Think Tank WorldCafé. Finally, the images of the different topic areas, including numerous specific approaches and suggestions concerning company measures were assembled on stage. Puzzle elements signed by all participants underlined the commitment of leading staff members to proactively implement the gained knowledge in everyday situations. Subsequently, all verbal contributions and results were scientifically processed and made available to the management in the form of a knowledge summary.

In order to combat AIDS, the German-Austrian AIDS Congress has set itself the goal to make an essential contribution to integrating the activities of AIDS researchers, medical staff, the community, representatives of social professions and social scientists. In its function as PCO, EVENT SERVICE RS was entrusted with the organisation of the congress and was fully responsible for the areas of sponsoring, industrial exposition, congress logistics, registration, fringe programme and budget planning. In addition, the project team assisted both the congress president, Univ. Prof. Dr Heribert Stoiber and the international team duringthe organisation of the scientific programme, abstract management and selection of speakers. The jointly developed congress motto “Meet. Understand. Move” admonished the representatives of the main fields – science, medicine, community and industry – to not only engage in an intense exchange but also to cooperate in all points of contact. In cooperation with the University Hospital of Innsbruck bike team, the Red Ribbon Road Tour – a symbolic ribbon-shaped ride in support of needy HIV-infected persons in the Tyrol – served as a spring board for a comprehensive public programme aiming at carrying the sensitive issue of HIV from its specialized scientific environment into society. The Social Night (M.U.M.M. – Meet. Understand. Move. Music) offered public access to a charity concert for the benefit of organisations focusing on the fight against AIDS. With the support of local and international artists, the trendy “Stadtcafé”, a hotspot of the scene in Innsbruck, served as a backdrop for the conscious illustration and resolving of clichés. Together with AIDS-Hilfe Tyrol (Aidscare Tyrol) and under the patronage of Gery Keszler, who also delivered the eulogy, EVENT SERVICE RS carried out a Tyrol-wide creative competition with an HIV-focused prevention message for all pupils attending classes higher than the 10th grade. Additionally, the congress was especially opened for pupils and youngsters and provided them with the opportunity to participate in guided tours and workshops. Numerous media reports and a nomination for the Austrian Event Award in the category “Congress” underline the positive public perception of the event and its organizers. Staged in Düsseldorf in 2015, the congress will return to Austria in 2017. Once again, EVENT SERVICE RS will be entrusted with the overall organisation of the event, this time in Salzburg.

By paying a direct, personal visit to Austrian householdswithin the framework of the 2010 Football World Cup, Kelly GmbH initiated one of the most comprehensive nationwide promotion campaigns ever to be organized in the country. EVENT SERVICE was entrusted with the overall logistical planning and operative realisation of this enterprise: 30 vehicles, 60 promoters and four weeks of commitment secured impressive figures, resulted in a nomination for the Austrian Event Award in the “Consumer Events”-category and provided the basis for a perennial continuation of the campaign. After the successful first campaign, the focus was shifted from football to carnival, a season during which sales figures of salty and spicy snacks are traditionally lower than those of sweets. In order to enable successful realisation, several bases were installed at strategically favourable locations across the country. Supported by radio, print and social media campaigns and equipped with specially branded Kelly's cars, an annual number of 30 extensively trained promoter teams with expertise in campaigning, products and brands embarked on their daily tour, which was supervised by appointed on-location base managers. In order to evoke positive emotions in the course of their mission, Kelly's “Carnival Heroes” rang the doorbells of Austrian homes, rewarded their owners by handing out valuable product vouchers to restock snack supplies, and consoled “not-yet” customers with current sample packages from Kelly's product world. Alternating team constellations, daily targets and route selections as well as thrilling “battles” between teams motivated the promoters to deliver maximum performances every day and added “a charming and cheerful crackle to carnival”, no matter how challenging the weather and road conditions may have been.

As a reinforcement of the successfully established TV ad series around the fictitious football club “FC Wohlenegg” with the congenial bank adviser “Hannes”, BAWAG P.S.K entrusted the EVENT SERVICE RS team with planning and realising a national below-the-line campaign. In close cooperation with KaiserCommunications and a central customer-internal project team, the years 2012 and 2014 saw the largest nationwide football tournament for amateur kickers to date; strongly involving the branch offices of BAWAG P.S.K, the event was organized as a “Celebration for the Whole Family” and awarded a nomination in the “Overall Communication” category of the Austrian Event Award. The competition mode: from table football to mini-pitch and, finally, the match of legends! In the course of qualifying competitions, teams of six to ten players demonstrated their skills at mastering an obstacle course, soccer tennis and a giant table football tournament. During the ensuing provincial mini-pitch tournaments, the kickers were equipped with new team kits and ambitiously competed for participation in the highlight of the event, the Austrian final, whichtook place on the day of the European Championship/World Cup final and included a public viewing event. The main prize of the event included a football celebration in the home municipality of the winning team, a match of legends against Herbert Prohaska's Copa Pele and coaching tips by Ivicia Vastic! The supporting programme offered a children's area with care staff, a football bouncy castle, an airtrack mat and numerous possibilities to win prizes at different goalscoring and ball skills contests. Sponsors, prominent politicians, former and active famous Austrian sports persons as well as media-raffle meet and greet winners were welcomed on location by presenters Christian Brugger and Stefan Steinacher before utilising various attractions to compete against other visitors and testimonial Ivica Vastic. During the preparation phase, the 30-strong event crew was made familiar with the event format and equipment in the course of a multi-day training programme. Using five cameras and a mobile video wall, a special TV crew broadcast the events during the provincial tournaments and the final game. The PR team managed the processing of all infos, interviews, images and highlight videos for the website, online blogs and facebook. Press reports, photo and video material were directly made available to the press and guaranteed comprehensive editorial reporting on TV, HF, print and online media.

EVENT SERVICE RS presented the “Network Challenge” as a preliminary campaign of the BAWAG P.S.K. Cup 2014. The aim was to assist the branches of the bank with the establishment of the broadest possible network in their region and to increase the interest of both the population and the public for Austria's largest amateur football tournament. In preparation for this event, regional support workshops for all interested staff members were initiated. The topics were “networking” and “target setting and target achievement”. Based on the “lessons learned” after the first successful staging of the tournament in the year 2012, the potentials and applicability of the cup as a “regional networking platform” were identified and application criteria for possible venues were defined. Subsequently, numerous staff members, club officials and SMEs formed local delegations and applied for the organization of a qualifying event. After an evaluation of the applications at the management level, a total number of 47 local delegations was commissioned with the realisation of a qualification event and simultaneously invited to a grand kick-off event at the scalaria near Lake Wolfgang. In the course of an interactive multimedia game show involving the participation of numerous prominent guests, the applicants received all required information about the impending cup and “battled” for the role as hosts of the provincial tournaments as well as for the grand finale including a live public viewing of the 2014 World Cup. Not least due to theenergetic support of the networking delegations, the BAWAG P.S.K Cup 2014 exceeded all expectations in the following year.

Within the framework of the IFCC World Lab in Berlin, EVENT SERVICE RS was assigned with a follow-up project, which implied an exclusive involvement on behalf of Beckman Coulter. The target was to carry out the current “Experience More”-campaign for all relevant “customer touch points”. Subsequently, our agency drew up a special website including an online registration tool for travel, workshops, meetings and social programmes. The strategic implementation of the project involved the identification of a first-class hotel with complete accommodation and conference capacities, which was adapted and equipped to serve as a centre, platform and starting point of the “Experience More”-event for the guests on location. Specially tailored for the needs of the different markets, “Experience More of Berlin” modules were developed. These replaced conventional business dinners and were bookable on a daily basis for smaller and larger groups. For this purpose, wide-ranging transport facilities, multilingual guides as well as culinary, architectural and history-steeped peculiarities of different city districts were not only used in a harmonic way but also dramaturgically presented. More than 800 registered participants from 27 nations, approximately 2000 overnight stays in hotels as well as transfers, “Experience More of Berlin”-modules and individual event participations were realised. The campaign was nominated for the category “Corporate Events” at the Austrian Event Award and, in 2013, found its continuation in Milan under the motto “lab forward”.

The assignment entailed the pre-launch of the new customer loyalty programme for Austrian petrol station partners. Instead of a conventional presentation, EVENT SERVICE RS made use of the occasion to stage “ENZIAN” – a multi-media scenic play – in order to communicate all essential bits of information in an entertaining and pointed manner. Supported by cutting-edge projection technology and camera directions, the events around “a filling station” after the introduction of the BP Bonus Club were charmingly performed by actors and theatre musicians who, with typically Austrian cross-references, presented a fictional “outlook onthe future”. Two parallel storylines communicated contents, functionality, benefits and added values at a rational level. The emotional level not only directly addressed “internally known shortcomings and problems” of past loyalty promotions, but also proactively solved these through the “new innovative amenities” of the future programme, which put the effects of positive “aha-effects” to use. Also integrated into the script were FAQs concerning the customer loyalty programme. Moderated management debates and an epilogue served as a dramaturgical framework. The intricate division of the Salzburg Arena into two distinctive parts served as a starting point for the second surprise of the event – the backstage gala setting. A buffet with Austrian culinary specialties and the music of Falco's “Helden von Heute” (Heroes of Today) provided a platform for speeches by country managers, exchanges between partners and an exhibition area for the future rewards of the BP Bonus Club. The innovative staging was rewarded with a nomination in the category “Corporate Events” at the Austrian Event Award.

For the third time in a row, EVENT SERVICE RS was entrusted with drafting and realising the annual sales meeting of Ventana Medical Systems, a member of the Roche Group. After Seefeld and Florence, the several-day meeting for 180 staff members from all over Europe and the Middle East took place in Saalfelden. The steering committee presented itself to the participants on a specially designed stage – including a special conference structure – to kick off the new “RTD – Roche Tissue Diagnostics” division. To generate commitment for the new international business case, the participants erected the “RTD Igloo Village” with their own hands, a team-building effort which included setting up creative communication channels. Additional motivation was generated by the dogsled experience with more than 50 huskies! The extraordinary concept of the event was awarded gold in the category “Staff Events” at the Austrian Event Award.

Within the framework of the Castrol UEFA 2008™ Sponsorship Programme, BP Lubricants and Kempster Ltd commissioned EVENT SERVICE RS as on-location event agency for the European Football Championship 2008. During the two-year preparation phase, the complete project infrastructure (offices, storehouse, EDP, communication, interpreters, event technology, branding, security concept, accommodation and transport) for 300 staff members as well as for persons entrusted with looking after the 3500 VIP guests attending games in the different host cities was drafted and planned down to the smallest detail. True to the motto “the more you know, the better you perform”, the central element of the “customer journey” was represented by the perspective provided by the point of view of the player. Accordingly, the VIP guests from 20 nations were greeted in the language of the country by multilingual hostesses and transported to the team hotels on the day preceding the respective matches. During the “evening with”, which was placed in extraordinary locations and a “locker room” setting, the participants received background information and expert opinions from the four touring testimonials Ottmar Hitzfeld, Emilio Butragueño, Pierluigi Collina and Arsène Wenger, before receiving an exclusive invitation to go on a sightseeing tour and attend a match the next day. The final party in the Orangerie of Schönbrunn Castle served as the highlight of an event series comprising more than 20 individual events and press conferences all over Austria. The event format was upgraded by milestones and figures from Austrian history such as a couple on horseback, who masqueraded as Emperor and Empress and welcomed the more than 100 guests against the backdrop of numerous flag bearers from all nations. During the aperitif, the specially arranged living act “Ballet of Nations” created the appropriate atmosphere for the ensuing analyses by the testimonials, which were simultaneously translated into six languages. The dramaturgical finale of the production involved Austrian dancers, the sound of waltzes and breathtaking tricks performed by English football acrobats. The campaign was awarded the Gold Trophy at the renowned “ESA – European Sponsorship Award”, which took place in London.
